G. De Carlo & the ILAUD.

Spatial and graphic proposal for an exhibition about Giancarlo De Carlo’s works and the years of the International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design at Fondazione Ordine Architetti, Milano 2019.

The exhibition design project is developed on three independent levels: existing architecture (which becomes the support for the graphics); temporary structures; displays and cabinets. The graphics is a useful tool to move in chronological order inside the rooms and dominate the space, whose design is characterized by a series of panels, dimensioned according to the ISO 216 standard in order to facilitate their transport on pallets. A series of display cases that stand out as a ‘figure on a background’ interact with the vibrant colour of the structure.
